The working principle of electrostatic spraying can be seen here

Plastic powder is a type of powder coating that has been widely used in the construction and decoration industry in recent years. It has the advantages of no pollution, multiple colors, and bright colors. The use of plastic powder is different from the use of paint, as it requires the use of an electrostatic spraying machine. So, what is the working principle of using an electrostatic spraying machine?

Electric powder spraying equipment (electrostatic spraying machine) sprays powder coating onto the surface of the workpiece. Under the action of static electricity, the powder will uniformly adsorb onto the surface of the workpiece, forming a powdery coating; The powder coating undergoes high-temperature baking, leveling, and solidification to become the final coating with different effects (different types of effects of powder coatings); The spraying effect is superior to the spraying process in terms of mechanical strength, adhesion, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, etc., and the cost is also lower than that of spraying with the same effect

1. Pre treatment: Purpose: To remove oil stains, dust, and rust from the surface of the workpiece, and to generate a corrosion-resistant "phosphating layer" on the surface of the workpiece that can increase the adhesion of the spray coating. Main process steps: degreasing, rust removal, phosphating, passivation. After pre-treatment, the workpiece not only has no oil, rust, or dust on the surface, but also a uniform and rough gray phosphating film that is not easy to rust is generated on the originally silver white glossy surface, which can prevent rust and increase the adhesion of the spray coating. Related equipment: pre-treatment tank (concrete tank, quantity equivalent to pre-treatment work number); Related materials (chemicals): sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, soda ash (Na2CO3), acidic degreaser, phosphating solution, passivation solution

2. Electrostatic spraying: Purpose: To evenly spray powder coating onto the surface of the workpiece. Special workpieces (including areas prone to electrostatic shielding) should be sprayed using high-performance electrostatic spraying machines.

Using a spray coating machine for application is also more natural in terms of effect, unlike paint which will fade and peel off over time. The service life of plastic powder is still relatively long.
