What are the specific steps of electrostatic spraying

Adjust the appropriate electrostatic voltage

In general, a voltage range of 50KV-60KV is sufficient. For long-distance spraying of large amounts of powder, the voltage can be between 60KV-80KV (not excessive). When re spraying and electrostatic shielding are severe, low voltage should be used, generally between 30KV-50KV.

Spray distance

Under normal circumstances, it should be between 100-300mm. In the actual production process, the spraying distance should be adjusted according to the shape of the sprayed workpiece and the process at any time.

Powder spraying amount

The amount of powder sprayed is generally determined based on the process requirements and shape of the workpiece being sprayed. When inside the spray box, special attention should be paid to the appropriate amount of powder, which should not be too large, otherwise there will be accumulation below.

Spray corners and grooves

A. When spraying, spray the corners and grooves first, and then spray other parts.

B. When spraying angles and grooves, the spraying range should be adjusted appropriately or the gun distance should be reduced, and the angle and swing of the gun should be changed.

C. The voltage can be adjusted appropriately.

Metal powder spraying

A. The spraying state should be selected as constant current state. When selecting a constant current state, the voltage size needs to be adjusted.

B. Ensure that the powder bucket is insulated from the ground.

C. When working, the powder deposited on the outside of the spray gun and powder tube, as well as on the working arm, should be cleaned up in a timely manner.

D. Regularly replace the powder conveying pipe.
