The 5th China (Yongkang) International Door Industry Expo 2014 will be held from May 24 to May 25, 2014 at the Yongkang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Yongkang, Zhejiang, is known as the "Door Capital of China" and is the region with high concentration of the Chinese door industry, wide market coverage, and the most achievements in technological innovation and brand construction. There are currently more than 280 professional door product manufacturing enterprises in the Yongkang door industry, with an annual output of 25 million pieces of various door products and an export of over 7 million pieces. The total number of industrial enterprises and processing households involved in the economic census statistics is 1449, and the annual output value of the entire industry is over 10 billion yuan.
The domestic sales volume of Yongkang anti-theft doors accounts for 70% of the country's total, and the export volume accounts for two-thirds of the country's total. At present, there is a professional sales team with Yongkang as the main body and over 30000 people nationwide, with more than 36000 sales outlets. Export sales mainly go to markets in over 60 countries and regions, including Russia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.
Yongkang's door industry focuses on anti-theft security doors as its core products, and has successively developed multiple series of products including steel entrance doors, steel wood interior doors, steel interior doors, wooden doors, fire doors, sliding garage doors, and craft copper doors, with thousands of specifications, models, and styles. The material of anti-theft security doors has also developed from a single steel to a variety of materials such as steel wood composite, copper, and wood. The surface treatment process of doors has achieved the development of various processes such as spray painting, transfer printing, enamel, and one-time molding. The Yongkang anti-theft door industry has now formed a relatively complete manufacturing industry chain, with more than 95% of raw materials and components being locally matched, and the procurement radius not exceeding 30 kilometers.
